You'll note where the docs "harvested" one long vein from my right leg even tho' they left traces of 4-5 short scars to get it. Apparently, they cut sections which freed the whole vein to be pulled out as one piece so they could use it for the coronary bypass grafts in 2 or 3 places most efficiently. 
I'm Baaaccckk! [Sorta] This pic is proof that I reminded my cardiac surgeon (a good guy & US Navy vet of the Korean War era) of my request 2 weeks ago NOT to take the veins for grafting my bypass out of my arms, but to READ MY FOREARM NOTE when I was unconscious (bird notwithstanding, really)! Now, I've been home since Monday, a full week after I had to drive myself to the hospital for my OWN bypass (Yellow Cab never showed up for the hour's drive & their office had no record of my reserving them 12 hours earlier!) Real recovery is just starting here with a Physical Therapist, & an RN doing home health visits 2-3 times each week. This is highly preferable to a rehab hospital right now, and allows me access to my 'puta & my half-nekkid friends!OK, I'll have to put the rest of this week's post-bypass chest pic in a new post! Check below: The tape covers dressings to absorb ooze from my chest drainage tubes inserted during the surgery for a couple days during ICU. After the holes heal over, I'll show you: 4 half-inch horizontal slits in a row; these rather thick tubes took up space that made deep breathing difficult & painful! Good thing I had the pain meds available then, but I run out in less than 40 hours (I definitely hope Dr. Campbell got the refill prescription faxed to the pharmacy in time to get it refilled this weekend!) I'll post the scar in the next post in a minute.
This week, I'll post my chest pic as seen before I get the upcoming double-bypass for which I finally got a briefing from a cardiac surgeon. I had intended to post the new center to my WingHouse tat wings but I didn't get to add the stylized Sagittarius symbol yet. It will be a red outline on a pink background: You figure what the symbolism signifies! But my blood thinner has to be stopped before the tat addition, and I need the bypass operation to be done first!
This tat's center circle was going to copy my favorite bartender's initials as tattooed near her mons pubis but she wouldn't even show me a photo! WTF?! I was drawing the same design on envelopes given to her out of my own creativity MONTHS before I ever even heard she HAD such a tattoo! I think that showed some sort of psychic connection between us beyond the fact that I tutored her thru a tough course in College Algebra last summer! OK, since we are both Sagittariuses, you will notice the uniquely stylized Sag symbol I'm slipping into the open tat hole this Thursday afternoon, instead. (I'll show you next week.) That'll teach HER to not trust ME!
